The Abaco Islands are known to have a calm sea surrounded by charming islands and these qualities make a very popular diving spot. There are several protected underwater areas including Fowl Cay National Reserve and Pelican Cay Land and Sea Park, boasting massive reefs with swim-through caves that are seasonally filled wall-to-wall with silver baitfish. At certain dive spots on the edge of the reef, we are almost guaranteed to experience the thrill of seeing reef sharks up close, tropical fish and other amazing types of marine life!

Our honeymoon on The Abacos Islands will keep us entertained from dusk to dawn! Entertainment here is concentrated in the bars of the resorts and at the marinas. Offering live music at varied places on different nights throughout the year, several pubs and sports bars also offer a daily Happy Hour and features everything from international competitions on TV screens, karaoke, pool tables, darts, card and domino games, and live music, DJ, dancing, and so much more!

Nowhere else can we find more opportunities to swim with these marine mammals, in the open ocean or inside a marine mammal facility. Dolphins are not the only big animals in The Bahamas. A shark dive also offers the most thrilling 45 minutes we will ever spend underwater.
