Whether we are a first-timer or an experienced fisher, Grand Bahama Island offers all types of fishing. Port Lucaya Marina is a hub for reef fishing, whether we want to go by powerboat or sailboat. Frequent catches include grouper, snappers, grunts, jacks, and triggerfish. For big game fishing, we will hook up with fish like marlin, wahoo, tuna, and mahi-mahi on a deep-sea fishing trip. With your thoughtful wedding gift, we will spend a half or full day relaxing as we wait for the catch of the day!

Our honeymoon on Grand Bahama Island will keep us entertained from dusk to dawn! A diverse mixture of beach bars, nightclubs, pubs, sunset cruises, and the Las Vegas-style casino at Grand Lucayan Resort with non-stop gaming action will keep us occupied well into the night. We will visit Count Basie Square in Port Lucaya Marketplace for unforgettable native entertainment. On particular nights there is karaoke, fire and limbo dancing, live folk music, Rake & Scrape, gospel music by the island’s top bands, plus cultural performances.

With your generous wedding gift, we will challenge each other to a game of tennis or enjoy tennis lessons for two! Tennis courts are available at several resorts so we can enjoy a tennis match at Deep Water Cay Club, Grand Lucayan Bahamas (clay, grass, rubber, asphalt) and Island Seas Resort. Public facilities include the Grand Bahama Squash Club which has three active courts for play.
